Creative Boost: Recharging Imagination with Scribble Art

At Master Art Academy, we believe that creativity grows best when it’s nurtured, challenged, and occasionally — given a little room to play.
After an intense month of focused lessons, techniques, and structured art projects, our students take part in something we call a Creative Boost. It’s our way of giving their imagination a break from precision and letting their minds reset through pure, playful creativity.
Why We Love It
When students do Scribble Art, they’re not just playing — they’re practicing essential art skills without even realizing it.
They’re:
Strengthening their observation and imagination
Building creative confidence
Learning to trust their instincts and see beauty in unexpected places
Most importantly, it helps them reconnect with the joy of making art — no rules, no pressure, just pure creativity.
This Week’s Creative Boost: Scribble Art!
Here’s how it works:
Start by making a big, looping scribble on your paper.
Look closely and find shapes hidden in the lines — maybe you see a bird, a mushroom, a fish, or even something totally unexpected!
Outline the shapes you discover and color them in.
That’s it!
There’s no right or wrong way to do this — the goal is to help students see creatively, take risks, and remind themselves that art can be fun and freeing.
