At Master Art Academy, we teach foundational skills in drawing, media exploration, and design to help students build a strong artistic foundation. Our classes are rooted in a safe, nurturing environment where young artists can express themselves freely and confidently. We believe every child has unique creative gifts, and our mission is to help them discover and develop those talents while nurturing compassion, empathy, and resilience through the creative process.
Meet The Team

Misaki Chaidez
Founder & Studio Director
I am the owner and director of Master Art Academy, bringing over 20 years of experience as a creative professional. With degrees from Cal State Fullerton and the Art Institute, and hands-on experience at an award-winning design firm, I built Master Art Academy on a foundation of technical depth and real-world creative perspective.
Drawing on professional training in art-based critical thinking instruction with SmithsonianX and the National Gallery of Art, I design programs that develop students' ability to observe deeply, think independently, and articulate their ideas — skills that extend well beyond the studio.
My lifelong passion for art education drives every curriculum decision, from building strong foundations across painting, drawing, and clay, to continuously raising the standard of instruction at the academy.

Mathias Chaidez
Founder & Digital Director
Hi, I’m Mathias, the Digital Director and Co-Owner of Master Art Academy. I earned my degree in Film Scoring from Berklee College of Music and have a deep passion for combining creativity with technology. At the academy, I lead our digital course development and manage our online presence to make art education more engaging and accessible for students of all ages. I love finding new ways to bring the world of art to life through sound, visuals, and interactive learning.

Bethany Stitt
Lead Art Teacher
My name is Bethany Stitt, I am a 2024 Graduate from Cal State University Fullerton with a major in Entertainment Art/Animation. I am very passionate about art, and I can’t imagine a life without creativity. I love to create my own fictional characters, and I even directed a group short film during my last semester in college. When I’m not drawing I like to visit new places and take photographs with my film camera. I love to travel and hope to visit more places around the world so I can take photos there.
